Un Año de Pole (A Year of Pole) started as a simple idea: document what happened while trying to exercise. It quickly became something else.
The zine captures a year of pole sport through analog illustration, handwritten notes, and the transcription of a real class — the instructor's voice, exactly as heard. It documents bruises, small victories, new friendships, and the unexpected ways a physical practice can reshape a whole year without you noticing.
I developed it at Puerto Talleres in Buenos Aires as part of an open fanzine workshop. There was no predefined outcome, just the intention to make something honest.
The result is a 15-page publication (including cover and back), illustrated with pencils and Copics, designed in InDesign, and printed in December 2025. Made with insomnia.
First edition: 6 copies. Presented at Yoli Taller, Buenos Aires, late 2025.
