Brand identity system for one of Buenos Aires' most iconic Art Deco theatres.

Teatro Ópera

Teatro Ópera is one of Buenos Aires' most recognizable cultural venues, located on Avenida Corrientes and active since 1872. The project focused on developing a brand identity system capable of accommodating a wide spectrum of programming — from classical productions to contemporary artists — without losing coherence.

The identity was developed collaboratively as part of FADU's Sapoznik course. The system — logotype, color palette, typographic hierarchy, and graphic language — emerged through an extended iterative process, balancing consistency with the flexibility required to adapt across formats and audiences.

My role focused on mockup production and environmental art direction. This involved on-site photography at the theatre and subsequent compositing, translating the identity into real-world applications — architectural surfaces, marquee signage, print materials, and digital touchpoints.

All environmental applications were photographed and constructed from scratch, allowing the system to be tested in context rather than presented as isolated assets.
